Brownies Espresso

Brownies Espresso

Description

Prep time; 15 minutes

Cook: 30 min

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

*(1) Betty Crocker Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix 18.4oz *(5) tbsp water (75 grams)

*1/2 cup Sunflower oil or any oil will do (10 grams)

*(2) eggs

*2 1/2 tbsp instant espresso (35 grams)

*1 cup sugar free chocolate chips (175 grams)

For the glaze

*2 tbsp water (30 grams)

*2 tsp instant espresso (2 grams)

*1 1/2 cups of confectioner sugar (187 grams)

*1 tbsp room temperature unsalted butter (14 grams)

*1 tsp vanilla extract (4 grams)

*3/4 cup chopped walnuts (80 grams)

Directions

*Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

*Spray a 9×13 or 9×9 nonstick cooking spray or grease, on the bottom of baking pan.

*Lay down parchment paper.

*Spray with nonstick cooking spray on top of parchment paper. This insures the batter “WILL NOT STICK”.

*Get a large bowl, add in the brownie mix. Add in the sunflower oil. Set that off the side for now.

*Add the espresso into the water. Mix with a spoon, until combined. Add the mixture into the brownie mix.

*Add the eggs

*At this point, get your whisk, and “DO NOT MIX ALOT”, just until combined.

*Add in sugar free chocolate chips to the mixture. “REMEMBER DO NOT MIX LONG”.

*With your spatula, give it a mix and flop and fold, get all the mixture combined. Not long.

*Pour batter into the baking pan. Your 9×13 or 9×9.

*Cook for 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If its clean, you are good to go!

*Let the brownies cool in the cooking pan for 30 minutes.

Upon Waiting for the brownies to cool, lets start on the glaze.

*In a bowl add your confectioner sugar. Add in your room temperate butter.

*Mix in your espresso in water. Mix with a spoon, until combined.

*Add the espresso into the confectioner sugar mixture.

*Add your vanilla extract to the mixture.

*Devolve the butter with your spatula, until the butter is broken up.

*Whisk until smooth, 20-30 seconds.

*Pour the glaze on the cooled brownies.

*Apply the chopped walnuts and apply them on the brownies. Doesn’t have to be perfect!

*Wait 20-25 for the glaze to set in.

*Enjoy your amazing brownies, and please hide them, they will not last long in your house! Hide them under the bed, anywhere but the kitchen.
